Derek Fisher, the 38 year old point guard who won five championships with the L.A. Lakers, and who helped the Thunder reach the finals last year, has re-signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski.
Fisher was signed by the Mavericks early in the season, though was waived after playing just nine games due to an apparent knee injury and personal circumstances. He averaged 8.3 points, 3.3 assists in twenty five minutes a game.
Fisher is an experienced point guard who was an intricate part of the Thunder's success last year. Re-signing him at this point of the season after trading Eric Maynor might mean Reggie Jackson's playing time could go down.
